A mattress buying guide for comfortable sleep at night

If you sleep for approximately eight hours a day, you are spending the one third of your life on bed. Therefore it becomes a priority for you to make sure that your mattress is comfortable.  If you are feeling tired or your body is aching when you wake up in the morning, your mattress is more than six to seven years old or your mattress have lumps and is sagging at places, then it is time for you to buy a new mattress.

You need to make sure that the material you choose is highly durable and can withstand daily wearing. There are a number of choices available when it comes to mattress. The first decision to be made is to select the core of the mattress. There are four different types of core, used most commonly in mattresses.

·          Innerspring core have the bouncy feeling. The outer layer in this type of mattresses is usually foam or fiberfill. It might look more inviting to buy a very puffy layer, but you have to make your choice wisely, because just after a few months of use you may find that the puffy layer you loved is not so puffy anymore.

·         Foam mattress with polyurethane core is less springy. For those who want a firm base mattress, this is the right choice. When you sit on it only the topmost layer sinks and nothing beyond it.

·         Latex mattress are like foam mattress when it comes to firmness, but they have more buoyancy. In terms of price they are on a bit higher side, but are said to be more durable than other types of mattresses.

·         There are air filled mattresses with rubber or vinyl chamber. You can customize the firmness of the mattress for you and your partner separately.

Besides the types of core, there are other factors that you need to think about when you are choosing a mattress from Mrfurniture for you.

·             The way you sleep is one of the most important factors to consider while buying a mattress. If you tend to sleep at your sides then a fluffy innerspring mattress is best for you as the pressure relief will be more.

·                If you sleep on your stomach, then consider buying a mattress with firm top layer. Latex mattress, air filled mattress or dense innerspring mattress is the right choice.

·           If you sleep on your back then almost all type of mattress will suit you which can support your spine.

·           If you are prone to allergies then consider buying latex or foam mattress, which are resistant to molds and dust mites and antimicrobial.

·           Take a fifteen minute test before buying any mattress. This means that lie down on a mattress for fifteen minutes in a store to find out if it is comfortable for you.

·           It is important to check the comfort level of the mattress before buying. If you are not sure about mattress stores in your area then you can do a quick search on the internet. For instance if you are living in Tampa, type “Mattress Stores Tampa”, to locate the mattress stores near you.
